What's wrong with the government today? This is my 29th year of service, and like most people, I can't wait to leave (I may take a penalty). I'm sickened and disgusted by what this organization has become and I've had enough. How can this be fixed? You must gain the respect of your employees through action, not hollow words. Every attempt I've seen over the years to improve things is so out of touch and pathetically inadequate that it just upsets people more and reinforces the idea that the people running the show don't have a clue. I would be glad to help improve the way things are done but not through any of the methods that have been attempted so far (this one included). If you really want to make the federal government into the employer of choice again, give me a call and I'll try to help. A lot needs to be done, not enough room here to explain.
