I believe as a democratic country the people should have more of a say on the laws and policies of the country. For example in Switzerland they have referendums on a continual basis. In 2017 and 2018 they voted on such things as immigration, corporate tax laws, radio and television license fees,fund for road and urban infrastructure, energy act, etc. This is democracy at it's best.
