Bird Colonies - Coastal Resource Information Management System (CRIMS) The distribution of nesting areas for bird colonies in coastal British Columbia showing relative abundance (RA) by season and overall relative importance (RI). RI is based on project region and not on the province as a whole. Number counts for various species in the colony location are provided. CRIMS is a legacy dataset of BC coastal resource data that was acquired in a systematic and synoptic manner from 1979 and was intermittently updated throughout the years. Resource information was collected in nine study areas using a peer-reviewed provincial Resource Information Standards Committee consisting of DFO Fishery Officers, First Nations, and other subject matter experts. La répartition des zones de nidification des colonies d'oiseaux sur la côte de la Colombie-Britannique, indiquant l'abondance relative (AR) par saison et l'importance relative globale (IR). L'IR est basé sur la région du projet et non sur la province dans son ensemble. Le dénombrement des différentes espèces dans l'emplacement de la colonie est fourni. Le CRIMS est un ancien ensemble de données sur les ressources côtières de la Colombie-Britannique qui a été acquis de manière systématique et synoptique à partir de 1979 et qui a été mis à jour par intermittence au fil des ans. L'information sur les ressources a été collectée dans neuf zones d'étude par le biais d'un comité provincial des normes d'information sur les ressources évalué par des pairs, composé d'agents des pêches du MPO, des Premières nations et d'autres experts en la matière. Il n'est actuellement pas prévu de mettre à jour ces anciennes données.
