I am trying to compare the full year 2015 to other years?

Hello,

We have forwarded your question to the data owner, and will provide a response as soon as possible.

The Open Government Team

Hello,

The data owners have offered this response to your question:

"Regarding the specific comment from the potential user, we normally report data by influenza season, and not by calendar year. The 2015/16 season will not be complete, and final data sets will only be available following the end of the season - August 2016. So full-year data for 2015 will be available when the 2015/16 season is made available on the open data portal in Spring 2017. "

Best,

The OG Team

Hi is the data for 2013/14 and 2014/15 flu season available? Where can I find them?

I've found the 2013/14 data through the search tool, but the 2014/15 flu season data is no where to be found. Please advise. Thanks!

Hi Lynn,
Thank you for your questions. They were sent over to the data owner last week for clarification.

Once we receive a response, it will be posted here.

Thank you, and let us know if you have any further questions!

Hi, it's been more than a week. Is there an update to the question I've posted earlier regarding the availability of the 2014/15 flu season data?
Thanks!

Hi Lynn,
The following response has been posted on behalf of the data owner:
"At the federal level, we publish a surveillance report (FluWatch) each week which provides weekly data throughout the year on activity levels, outbreaks, influenza like illness, laboratory confirmations of influenza, and severe outcomes including hospitalizations, intensive care unit admissions and deaths. Weekly reports for the 2014-2015, 2015-2016, and 2016-2017 seasons are available to the public, online at: http://healthycanadians.gc.ca/diseases-conditions-maladies-affections/di....

I invite you to consult our weekly FluWatch reports at the above link in order to access the data you seek until such time that these data are also posted in aggregated annual format on the open data portal."

Thank you,
Tasha, the Open Government Team
